Today, students previewed their research paper assignment. Mrs. Crandall help thesis statement writing conferences, and students began recording the primary quotes for their papers, on their planning templates. Wednesday- Unheard Voices Narrative Point of View Assignment
Thursday- Read, Discuss, and Annotate The Great Gatsby chapters 6 & 7
Friday- Read, Discuss, and Annotate The Great Gatsby chapters 8 & 9
Today, students read and annotated chapter six and began reading and annotating chapter seven of The Great Gatsby.
Students also signed up to bring snacks for tomorrow. We will have snack and finish reading The Great Gatsby.
Today, students finished reading and annotating chapter five of The Great Gatsby. Then, students worked in small groups to construct the "Unheard Voices Point of View Narrative" creative writing assignment.
