Today, we began class with an extended Multiple Choice Monday.  This week's MCM focused on PSAT strategies.  We used the PSAT Student Guide and Practice Test to help us prepare for the upcoming PSAT.  Then, we began discussing the various modes of development, for our upcoming synthesis unit.

  • Vocabulary unit 4 exercises due Wednesday 10/2 by 11:59 PM
  • Vocabulary Quiz 4 Thursday 10/3

Today, students took their CTLS Touchstone #1, in the computer lab.  Then, the class was given the remainder of the period to work on their Benjamin Franklin Round Robin Group Project.

Today, students took their vocabulary unit three quiz.  Then, they completed their Wendell Phillips rhetorical analysis and ratiocination and turned them in.  The class was given the remainder of the period to read Patrick Henry's "Speech to the Virginia Convention" and answer questions 1-5 in CEI paragraph format.
