Today, we began class with Multiple Choice Monday, an in-depth review of last weeks multiple choice practice. Then, students were asked to identify and define unfamiliar and/or confusing academic vocabulary found in the questions of their AP Benchmark exam. See Mrs. Crandall for details. Then, we discussed the requirements for the research paper proposal. We spent the rest of the class period reading Act IV of The Crucible, and students worked on their fallacy finders, study guides, and character trackers.

Today, we began class by reviewing the rhetorical precis requirements for the research paper. Then, we completed our dramatic reading of Act III of The Crucible. After the reading, the class took their Thank You for Arguing Quiz for chapters 1-18, and students were given the remainder of the class period to work on their study guides and/or review their vocabulary.
