Today, students began class with a warm-up, in which they answered and discussed the questions: "What is a rhetorical analysis?" Then, we reviewed different structures for a rhetorical analysis. We discussed the SOAPStone organizer, and how students can use this organizer to help them develop and effective introduction. After reviewing rhetorical analysis, we completed our reading of The Crucible. After lunch, students took their unit two vocabulary quiz and worked on their USA TestPrep Test #1, for the remainder of class.
