Today, students were assigned their learning contracts. Students were also given a calendar template, and they worked in groups to create their learning contract schedules. Today, we began class with Friday Forum presentations. Then, students took their vocabulary unit 4 quiz in the writing lab. Students were given the remainder of the class period to complete their Benjamin Franklin Round-Robin projects.

Today, students finished viewing The Great Debaters, which was used to facilitate an in depth class discussion on specific elements of argument/rhetoric. Students completed the detailed viewing guide. Then, students previewed their March calendar of assignments and their upcoming research paper assignment. Please see the calendar and assignment description below. Students who have not completed their Multiple Choice benchmarks MUST do so before the end of this week. Please take advantage of extended learning opportunities or make an appointment to complete this assignment before or after school. Reminders:
