Today, we began class with our Multiple Choice Monday exercise, based on the Writing and Language section of the SAT. Then, the class discussed the different anticipation guide questions for Into the Wild. Next, the class was assigned their Into the Wild debates, and they began choosing roles and brainstorming points for their debate topics. Students assigned their homework (synthesis essay) and were given the remainder of the class period to read Into the Wild.

Then, students took their vocabulary unit 5 quiz and previewed their vocabulary unit 6 words. We continued reading Into the Wild for the remainder of the class period.
