Today, class began with the USA TestPrep EOC Question of the Day. Then, we reviewed Sadlier vocabulary unit 2. For Multiple Choice Monday, we reviewed questions 1-9 on the AP Language pretest. Please view the PowerPoint to further reviewed your answers. Students were given the rest of the class period to work on their Native American Assimilation rhetorical analysis stations and annotations. Reminders:

Step Two: Read each sample essay. Assign each sample essay a score, using the AP Rhetorical Analysis Rubric. Write a brief paragraph, justifying the score. Make sure to use the language of the rubric. Step Three: Pick up and review the “Scoring Commentary” sheet. Compare the scores you’ve assigned each sample, and construct a brief reflection, comparing your scores to those of the AP graders.
