Today, we began class by reviewing the research project requirements, focusing on the scholarly article search assignment, one of which is due in class this Wednesday. Then, the class worked in groups to unpack the AP Language Rhetorical Analysis Essay Rubric, using the thirteen words metacognative method. For the remainder of class, students were given the opportunity to engage in a peer-norming activity, through which they anonymously scored their classmates' diagnostic rhetorical analysis essays, using the AP rubric.
