Today, students were given class time to ask questions about and workshop their "Miller's Commentary" analysis questions and SOAPStone/SMELL organizers. Then, the class completed their peer norming of their rhetorical analysis essays. We then reviewed elements of an effective argument essays and discussed sample argument essay outlines. We ended class by previewing the requirements for the research proposal, which is due on Friday. Please see the online research packet for instructions and a sample template.
