During today's digital sessions, students read "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God" (SB pg. 184), by Jonathan Edwards and complete a constructed response assignment in CTLS. Then, students read "The Trial of Martha Carrier" (SB pg. 188), by Cotton Mather, and answer (in complete sentences) "Returning to the Text" questions 10-16 directly in the digital textbook.
Reminders:
Today's digital session begins with an Introduction to The Crucible Nearpod Interactive Presentation (3rd Period; 4th Period). Then, students are given class time to read the introductory information and stage direction preceding the dialogue in Act I of The Crucible and complete the reading guide in complete sentences.
Homework: Complete the Introduction to The Crucible Reading guide, and submit to CTLS Assignments. Go to the resources page in CTLS, and open your SpringBoard textbook. Make sure to choose the English III 2021 version, and open the ebook. Go to the table of contents, and find activity 2.3 (pg. 200). Read "The Lesson of Salem," and answer the "Returning to the Text" questions 2-8 directly in the text box within the digital textbook. Reminders:
