Today, students presented their American Dream vision boards and turned in their reflection paragraphs. Then, the class previewed Sadlier unit one vocabulary, which is due on Thursday, 8/15. Students were advised to color-code the terms by part of speech, which is a time-saving strategy. At the end of class, the teacher introduced the Native American Assimilation Annotation Assignment, and students were given class time to complete steps 1-3 in "The Cutting of My Long Hair" portion only.
