Today, students used their Socratic Seminar charts to engage in a Socratic Seminar group discussion assignment. Students then came up with a thesis statement, answering the question: "What does it mean to be an American?" Then, students continued working on the Native American Annotation assignment, rereading "Kill the Indian, and Save the Man" and working on steps 1-4. Students will complete these steps for homework, if they do not complete them in class.
