Today, we began class with a grammar warm-up exercise. Mrs. Crandall, with the help of the class, modeled identifying and constructing adjective clauses. Then, we finished reading, discussing, and annotating chapter two of The Great Gatsby. Next, the class continued their work with Washington Irving's "The Devil and Tom Walker." The accompanying analysis questions, symbolism chart, and constructed response are due at the beginning of class tomorrow (2nd period).
